How Hill’s Pet Nutrition is responding to the COVID-19 crisis

Even as we stay apart, there has never been a better time to work together. It has been inspiring to see how animal shelters, veterinary professionals and communities at large have gone out of their way to care for pets during this uncertain time. As a global pet food company, we want to support them in kind.

For animal shelters in need of support

Through our Food, Shelter & Love program, Disaster Relief Network and in conjunction with our animal welfare partners, we are donating pet food to pantry partners, shelters, and other non-profit partners who are caring for pets.

We have also partnered with Humane Canada to provide financial grants to shelter partners impacted by COVID-19. Grants will be awarded by August 31, 2020.

If you are a shelter in need of nutritional assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to us at DisasterReliefCanada@hillspet.com. We are all in this together, and we will do our best to help.

Want to help your local shelter?

Some of the simplest ways to help a local shelter include making donations and signing up as a shelter volunteer.

Remember shelters may become inundated with walk-ins looking to help. Please contact your shelter ahead of time to find out what kind of support they need.

For veterinary professionals

We are working to serve your clinic within governmental guidelines, and to minimize disruptions to your supply chain or deliveries.

We are also happy to adjust to your needs. Simply reach out to your territory manager for more information.

If you have any questions, our free Veterinary Consultation Service is prepared to answer any questions you may have about nutrition or resources during this time.

For concerned pet parents

We know you have questions, so we want to be here with answers. Below, you’ll find several applicable resources that can help you make the most of social distancing with your pet.

The best way for everyone to help is by staying home and staying healthy, all while staying informed with up-to-date information from the World Health Organization.

Our commitment to quality
remains the same

We are a pet food company based in science, transparency, and responsibility. While these times may be uncertain, you can rest assured that we will continue to provide consistent, reliable nutrition with your pet’s best interests in mind.
