Rated 5 out of 5 by from This dog food offers what my dog needs. Taylor, my 12 yr old boxer, has a number of medical problems at this stage in her life, and is allergic to most meat based foods. My vet put her on this Hill's id food just after her episode of pancreatitis.. I was told that this food is very bland and she may not like it, but needless to say, Taylor loves it.. I mix just a little warm water in it to soften it for her and she gobbles it up.. I also use the can id food to hide her pills in and she never even knows she is getting the pills.. This Hill's Prescription Diet id food is keeping her digestive system in good shape and she is loving the food...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has ended my dogs diarrhea and weight loss My German Shepard ate tainted dog food years ago resulting in her pancreas being compromised. She can't process food normally which causes her to have extreme diarrhea and weight loss. Years of trips to the vet and tons of money for lab work and different dog foods we could not find anything that would help her. After moving to Florida she had another episode of diarrhea and weight loss. We took her to her new vet who immediately placed her on Hill's® Prescription Diet® i/d® Canine Gastrointestinal Health. Her health has improved greatly. As long as she doesn't get a lot of treats, her distress has been relieved. Thank you so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great food! My dauchshund has had stomach issues for many years, after he was cured the first time, very expensive stays at the vet, I ended up putting him back on regular food... my mistake. After a while he began having similar issues, I immediately put him back on this food mostly dry, but some wet as well, and he was fixed and good as new. It is a little expensive, but worth every penny to keep my little AJ in tip top shape and keep his belly feeling good. He loves the taste of it anyway, so he really thinks he's just getting extra spoiled!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for any dog with digestive issues! My little dog will be eight years old May 5. He is a 10 pound Pekachi who is loved by everyone who meets him. He started having severe stomach problems a couple of years ago. I tried all kinds of different dog food without any positive results. Our vet suggested we try Science Diet ID Prescription dog food. He has been on this dog food for a couple of years now and has done so well. All his stomach can tolerate is this Science Diet ID diet and blueberries. I use both the wet and dry dog food and he never seems to tire of either. I even use the dry dog food for his treats. I also fill his Kong with the dry and top it off with the wet. He loves it! The only downside for me is the price. I wish we were able to get more frequent coupons or the price was a little lower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is perfect for a dog or cat with IBS Yes this Hill's ID is a heaven sent. My little sweetness has been on Hill's Prescription ID since he was about 1 years old and now he has made to 9 years old. thanks to Hill's. Chou Chu has IBS everything upsets his stomach. He use to be on an all natural food but this did not help. I tried name brand products these did not help either. My vet advise Hill's and this is what he has been on since and he is healthy, happy, active. I feed him a 1/4 cup 7a, 12n, 5p and at nights he get a double portion because it is the longest period with out food. I you have to work and cannot feed your pet 4 times a day I would recommend an automatic feeder. I have one work very well. Thank you Hill's. P.S. you can print coupons from the Hill's website, your vet will honor it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy and Relieved! My German Shepherd developed a sensitive stomach issue and after several unsuccessful attempts at other quality brands of food, my Vet recommended Hills Presc. I was rather reluctant since it had ingredients I thought my dog would react negatively too. However, it was a HUGE SUCCESS! Within a few servings he was back to normal (firm stools) moisture to hair, a happy, playful dog. I gave this a 5 star rating because it resolved my dog's stomach issue. I gave it a 4 star rating for value because it is expensive and I have to buy a bag a month. I just wish it were $20 cheaper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a fantastic Prescription Dog Food that I highly recommend! My Aussie mix, C.C., was having stomach problems for a week. She would hardly eat and when she did she had tummy issues. I took her to our vet on Tuesday. She was running a small fever but blood work was clean. He put her on both the dry and wet Prescription Diet i/d canine Gastrointestinal Health. She ate it immediately and loved it. It didn't upset her tummy. By the following Monday she was herself again and her appetite was back to normal and so was her energy!. Thank you Hills. We are forever greatfu!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great find! Our small yorkie was vomiting frequently and had blood in her stool. Stools were also loose. Vet recommended Presctiption diet I/D. As long as this is all she eats she has no problems!! She eats the kibble, but we freeze the canned in ziploc bags, pressing a tablespoon or so into the bag as thin as cardboard. We break off a piece of the frozen canned food and give it to her for her 'treats'. She loves it! Likes the kibble way more than the other type she used to eat! Highly recommended!!
